EL REMUEL
MY VERY FIRST PROFESSIONAL WORK
A mural project for my home village with sustainability at the centre of it.
i reached the VILLAGE’S Major Of Santovenia de Pisuerga and proposed this project.
Some of the reasons I gave were:
Space not in use that could serve to welcome to the town and park.
A place to promote Santovenia and the characteristic features of this area: El Remuel park.
It could be used in a decorative way, but also collect rules to push people to take care of the park.
i showed them various options and they liked this one the best:
“the clouds that water us”
The most important element in this mural are the clouds that create the letters of “El Remuel”. They broadcast calmness at the same time as they bring rain, a precious resource.
Even though there are clouds, the blue sky predominates, so that we can see it even on the greyest days.
The area of rules is framed under an arch of representative plants and animals of the park: climbing vines, cherry blossoms, daisies, dandelions, rabbits and storks.
i refined this sketch along with the client’s suggestions and got here:
